People…were poor not because they were stupid or lazy. They worked all day long, doing complex physical tasks. They were poor because the financial institution in the country did not help them widen their economic base.” — Muhammad Yunus, Author of “Banker to the Poor: Micro-Lending and the Battle against World Poverty.”

A great poet wrote that the worst disease afflicting human beings is POVERTY. It is a shame that we have not eradicated this damn disease even though all the riches and resources are available and locked up in vaults, chests and secret bank accounts. Well scripted and directed movie based on a striking story. Good acting by all actors, background music blends with the movie and as is photography. This movie will make the audience think and empathize with the poor. Good one.

What a heart wrenching film that shows the reality of life. What I love about the film is how endearing and supportive the neighbors are of this struggling family and how a seemingly sad situation is turned around and there's light at the end of the tunnel. Remarkable performances!

An incredible storyline explained in the best possible way. All the actors have played their part to perfection. Such movies are very rare in today's time and hats off to the Director and Producer's to make it happen. Thia film truly deserve a good critic and definitely worth some achievements. Well directed and I guess it has a small message for the viewers. It teaches us to be happy with what we have and to find happiness from our surroundings.
