This is quite a shocking movie. It does show the reality of caste in India and how lopsided laws like SC/ST act ensure that upper castes can be locked up for 5-10 years in prison without evidence and how fathers are insulted when they try to protect their daughters from getting eloped by boys of another caste. The ultimate humiliation is when people dance at the death of the protective father! Must see if you have a daughter

Watch this only if you have been yearning for a good story line, no over-the-top action scenes, no half-clad heroines or thousands of behind dancers. Just like standard Tamil movies, director wants to convey a message and does not dilute it for heroes. Everyone has a role and they do it brilliantly, including new comers. Most unfortunate that Telugu people do not make these a hits, but are happy with substandard movies becoming hits. Go for this movie.
