Waste of time

The special effects in this movie are THE best you'll see in an Indian film, it very much rivals many modern Hollywood movies. The plot was abit confusing at first but you learn to understand it as the story goes on. Disha & Kamal Haasan had very minor roles in this film but did great, the rest of the cast do an amazing job too. This is a family friendly film with no inappropriate scenes. The style of the film seems to have been inspired by Marvel movies but it definitely adapts it well to an Indian story. The comedy wasn't necessary in the film but it does cut the tension abit. 4/5 for me

3.5/5 Storyline wise. Not bad not the best movie. One time watch. The pros in my opinion: For the first time in any cinema, lord Krishna is truly depicted as a black man- (true to nature and to hindu epic/mythology). The flashback story to Mahabharat storyline. The cons are: Cheap copy of foreign movies. The gem stone is like Vision's mind stone from Marvel.

What a waste without on end! Without any basis in the real Epic it hijacked, just for its namesake!

If the intent was to make a serious movie, should have stuck with focus on the movie instead of comic side shows and annoying songs

Lot's of physics defying fight sequences and long pointless intelligence insulting exposition filled dialogues like every other South Indian movie. BUT, in an industry full of formulaic romance, action and crime movies, it was refreshing to watch a dystopian fantasy technopunk. All sins forgiven for being brave enough to even attempt a high budget Sci-Fi fantasy. Amazing world building, amazing characterisation, loved every bit of it (except the parts I did not - again everything forgiven). 5/5.
