below average movie that is really disappointing.Dhanush and Smruthi Venkat were the only people who managed to give a decent performance in whatever scope they had.GV prakash's music is not the best,but still good enough.Samuthirakani's character is wasted and doesnt really give an impact.Malavika Mohanan's character is utterly useless(even if her character was not there,no big difference).Karthik Naren's direction is bad,and the movie was forcefully dragged,when it could been made as a short film.Overall,I would rate it 3.5/10.wouldnt really recommend it to anyone

It appears that the director and story writer is quite unfamiliar with the thousands of films with such similar themes and story lines; can't they think of something else! The fate of Tamil film industry and Tamil viewers that they have be bear such lousy oft repeated themes!

Won’t the producers or directors read the story before ? How stupid can the logic be when a girl burns herself because her dad is selling faulty voting machines to fund her education. And why blame the journalist who gets awareness to the issue. So basically even if it is the truth one must now write? Senseless movie with mediocre acting and below average music. I think they wanted to show some loss to income tax so they created this movie. Heroine has no role than be stupid

Script lacked imagination. Music lacked passion. Locations lacked character. Dhanush's deadpan grieving expression didn't help. Malavika was just wallpaper. None of which is their fault. I lacked self respect and sat thru like a Moron (an apt title for this movie)

Beautiful movie. I am not a fan of Dhanush. IN my opinion he does not have the physique to be a hero. But I have watched him develop into a great actor. This movie supports this. His dancing skills, His fighting skills have all improved over the years and he performs with great style now. His acting in this movie has been exemplary and in my opinion his acting skills are one of the topmost not only in tamil movies but across india on par with the likes of nasarudeen shah, amitabh, sharukh etc .
