Avoid seeing "Coolie" since it is a letdown. Rajinikanth's skill is wasted on needless violence and manufactured emotions in this movie, as it has been in many others in recent years. Anirudh's background music is just loud enough to permanently damage your eardrums. Bloodshed and noise are not worthy of the costly 200-crore film. The director Lokesh is a gibbering, empty vessel.

Coolie is a very good movie strong story acting was phenomenal and BGM etc were amazing and you have upendra and aamir khan what more do you want in a movie writing was very good and and also direction overall coolie is a good movie don’t know what he saying

i watched the Tamil version. after a few minutes i started playing the video at 1.25x to 1.5x. and yet, i could not watch the movie beyond 30 minutes. i tried to persist and watched till 1:24:00 and realized i cannot go beyond that, after suffering the torture for 1 and half hours i decided, i have had enough and stopped watching the movie. What a trashy film, This film is made only for rajini fans and not for the common man. Sorry folks, i tried and failed...

How can anyone write a script so badly ? What is the secret behind Tamil industry making such movies ? It must be some financial scam for which they use these movies as cover. Forget Aamir, Nagarjuna or Upendra, just getting Rajni and this budget should enable any TV serial director to do a better movie. Feels like the director & script writer locked themselves in a lodge room and had cocaine, LSD & mushrooms, watched several Netflix series & wrote this.
