The movie is based on real life incidents of a Tiruppur mill owner. Director Sasi actually underplayed the real character. In the movie, Vijay Antony begs for 48 days so as to make his mother well somehow. But the real character prays to God that if his mother is cured he will beg. His mom got well. Then, he begged for almost 5 yrs (6 months begging, 6 months looking after the factory) to keep his promise to God. We can only awe that these kinda people still exists !!
