An amazing bollywood movie after a long time!

I post this not as a criticism but more as thinking out loud. The statistic at the end of the film told us that there were 157m orphans and as a group they would be the 9th largest country in the world. So my question is this, seeing how the film spent a lot of time fixating on India's preoccupation with skin tone, how many of the orphans are dark skinned and for that matter, how many are disabled or born the wrong gender - girls? Surely this film perpetuates the fallacy or sadly underlines the belief that skin tone determines a hierarchical ranking in society! Just my two pennies.

The one thing that was incorrectly portrayed was the irresponsibleness of Americans. This is absolutely untrue. I personally know at least two of my white colleagues who adopted differently abled kids from Russia and India are still taking care of them. Otherwise, a big fan of Pankaj Tripathi!!
