I understand the leads are just making their debut, but they both need to work on skills, she more so, her movements are robotic in some of the scenes. There was zero emotion in their scenes together, and less chemistry. No way to believe this was a couple in love. Add to this the same boring script poor boy loves girl, girls parents do not want him, they want the rich fiancé who is a jerk, ....no wonder some comments are of surprise at the ending. This is a very mediocre movie. Sorry.

Just an Info: The original story is from an old Tamil Movie (7/G Rainbow Colony) by Selvaragavan and the story slightly modified for Mumbai. I think the title mentions his name for original story

Love the movie

It's a slower than usual movie with a different plot than what we're used to. In a sense it was mediocre, but it makes up for itself for being different and not a typical love movie with the typical happy ending. Acting was very sub par. At times it seemed like everyone was yelled at by the director so performance seemed really dull in certain scenes.

Cant handle that much of attitude from a girl man, she was hard but salute to Shiva's patience!

This subject has been overdone, however it would not be so much of an issue if the characters actually inspired something. They really don't, the newcomers (especially sorry to say, Sharmin Segal) hardly even changed facial expressions....It's a pity though because it was promising in the beginning.

I think that the debuts, weren't ready for these roles. Sharmin barely had any expression and seemed to look either confused or blank in any scene. Meezaan was acceptable. Overall, there was a lot of scenes with no story told through facial expressions and nothing really flowed into each other. The plot was good but I found it extremely difficult to see the love between them. Could have done with a lot more work, but still, it's not unwatchable.

How can you even call this a remake of the wonderful movie 7G rainbow colony? Anitha (Aisha) being cold and distant was the whole plot of the movie making it special when she later start having feelings for him.

In the Malaal movie: - I LOVED her scene at the ocean front with Shiva, her acting was superb. She is so expressive at that time and also when she and Shiva are at her friend house and next day she is telling Shiva that they cannot get married that perfect execution of the scene by Sharmin Segal Mehta. She is a fine art example. She is marvelous and excellent even in Heeramandi. Why Stupid people are trolling her.
