Everything great about this movie, very absorbing story, flows smoothly but full of suspense, moves slowly but not a moment lacking drama. The grand finale is a summarized treatise on righteousness. Great performance by the seasoned star Nawazudin Siddiqui.

I would say that you can watch it with older kids. It's not that bad as there's not really that bad language and there's no actual sex scenes but some sex references.

Siddiqui's cop, Negi, tackles a small-town mystery with a big heart. ️‍Rajesh Kumar as Dimri provides hilarious one-liners that lighten the mood. The twist ending will have you saying "Whoa!" to Rani, the seemingly ordinary teacher. "Rautu Ka Raaz" is a charming whodunnit in a picturesque setting. Highly recommend!

I saw the movie for the second time and enjoyed it even more, understood it better. This time, it reminded me, at least the detective play, of a once popular Briritsh TV show set in the Caribbean, was called Death in Paradise. However, this movie relates to India, Indians and the Indian ethos.
