Excellent topic. Public may feel helpless alone but if grouped together, they can clean up some mess, a start, will take a long time to spruce up any system, let alone a heavily damaged one. As of 2014-15, about 1lakh crore rupees of black money was brought back per audited reports. I don’t think it was for our bank accounts. If you hate him there are issues you can complain about like: As a citizen you should have access to any information that is not a national security issue but The government and its folks in India tend to be really stingy with dissemination of information. That has been a tradition that has not yet been broken.

Someone requested donations for COVID-19 relief funds, and crores of people contributed. Money was also deducted from the salaries of government employees. i.e. PM-CARES donations cut from government staff salaries.. However, when asked for details, it was stated that the fund is private and not public... They use nations emblem for this Fund donation campaign.. But that does not form a part of the Government of India's accounts... NaMo Namha..

The Covid 19 audited spending receipts are available through the pm cares site. Again if you hate him complain about real issues: What gives him/Sc the right to ask you to donate&then give only 1day to optout via sms? Why can funds go to a public char trust not under the GOI?It’s theSOP in allstates&the center post47 but that doesnt make it morally right. Why is there not a proper program where this information is disseminated like the MK govt do? Why only 1IT audit/yr? etc

If literally nobody knows about them, then they usually go as unclaimed assets. Although it sounds improbable, literally billions worth of assets go unclaimed in this fashion every year in most countries. It isn’t just cash at bank, or stocks - it includes endowment policies, pensions, mutual funds, life insurance and all sorts of other financial assets.

The governments (state/federal) in most countries get the assets after a dormancy period. The DP used to be 7-10years in India long back. However all over the world depending on the size and location, there is a risk that fraudsters calculate risk reward and claim them

Movies pointing out the corruption in Government were common pre-2014. After that ED, CBI etc cut the balls of the film industry, businessmen etc. The common man is satisfied with religious vandalism. This is a daring break from the shameless hatemongering in the name of movies (Sabarmati, Kerala story and the list goes on). The movie is an honest depiction of the 'common man' who is finding it too hard to earn enough to even feed their family and happy voting for 2000 Rupees.

The story and concept was great. The characterisation was amazing. The only lazy writing was at the end of the movie where the plot twist was not even remotely foreshadowed. R Madhavan and Kriti Kulhari did a great job. But literally I could have performed better than Neil Nitin Mukesh when I have never acted in my life. Not only was his acting bad (really bad - like Race 3 level bad) but also the director did him dirty with his character. If you want to create tension and make the audience fear the antagonist force, don't make the villain a clown.
