lol..there are thousands of tamil movies wher a fair skinned girl loves a dark complexioned guy... infact almost in all of the tamil movies hero ll b a dark complexioned or not so even average looking tamil guy and fair skinned heroines(mostly non tamil women) shown as tamil women...but not even in a single movie there was a question whether the guy was a hero or a villain..because mostly villains will be fair complexioned men in those movies :D
