Big difference on a movie about the Tamil freedom struggle taken by crowd funding even when Indian Gov and Sri Lankan Regime trying to supress it. And a commerical movie taken by a big producer and a big actor.......... Both are stealing. But the first one is just betrayal of their Tamil nation. Just a shameless person would do it. What India did to Tamils there was State Terrorism, simillar to what the Germans did in Poland, what the Americans did in Iraq and Vietman. IPKF (Indian People Killing Force) killed 20,000 Tamils, commited massrapes, killed patients, nurses and doctors in the Jaffna Hospital (Jaffna Hospital Massacre). Is that peace keeping? similar to the Special Humantarian Operation Russa are doing in Ukraine now? Hypocrisy at the best.

But the makers of the film who struggles to make this and the first one don't get their share. If you want to support the Production Team, the struggle and the actors then don't watch it here. This is equal to stealing. I woudn't care if this have been a random commercial film but this is a movie taken by crowd funding even tho Indian Gov and Sri Lankan regime tried numerous times to supress it. How would they get the money for the third film? Would you produce it?

After the major genocide (May 2009) the Tamils have been stripped of all their rights. They do not have land rights nor police powers. Even the police stationed in Tamil Eelam are ethnic Sinhalese. The PCs haven't had elections on a long time against International protests. Tamil parties are still trying to get Tamils some rights and justice for the Tamil genocide. Families of the dissapeared are now protesting non-stop for over 2,000 days without Media talking about it.

We should have thought about that before becoming paid goons for Premadasa and become terrorists. India was the main reason for the 2nd JVP revolt (1987-1990) which killed nearly 60,000 Sinhalese. The people who died with Rajiv Gandho are seen as traitors, they are no different than those who celebrate coward Rajapakshe. Indian State Terrorism have killed countless Tamils, Sikhs and Muslims. Sanjay Gandho even sterlized Dalit men and women.

Premedasa and Thalaivar Prabhakaran had every reason to kick the IPKF out of the Island. We don't want foreigners to come here and massacre and rape our women and children. Hindia killed 20,000 Tamils and thousand of Sinhalese and Moors. Rajiv Gandho sent young boys to die in foreign land. An amateur in politics. Basic movie with no acting talent. Tamils might be happy to watch this. Others would not enjoy it. Neither the content nor the quality is good.Too much of unnecessary violence to instigate emotions. Fighting for freedom requires both violent struggles and political acumen. Prabhakaran had the former but not the latter. Of course, to the people behind this movie, Prabhakaran is a God who can do no wrong. But the people of Eelam might have been able to achieve better living standards for themselves today, had Prabhakaran listened to people like Anton Balasingham, given more space to second rung leaders such as Karuna and understood that the world was a different place after 9/11.

Still majority of Eelam Tamils supports Prabhakaran and the Tamil Tigers. Even all major Tamil Parties have to have a Pro-LTTE stance to win politics. Anti-LTTE parties tend to lose every election. Ask the fate of Karuna Amman during the latest election. Only proves you don't know the ground situation there. The Tamils took arms up for a reason. No political demands put by the Tamil Tigers were respected. Tamils wanted self-rule which have not been granted by nobody.

If the movie is crowd funded, then the production costs should already be covered by the funding. I would consider any sales from the movie on any platform to be a profit. If the motive of the producer was to *inform/highlight* the oppression of Tamils, then the goal should be to show the world what happened - even if it means that you don't get to make profit from it. On the other hand, if the movie was made for profit, it's not something that we worry about at Einthusan, right?
