What the hell? Do you know what is propaganda? Kashmir Files. Every religion has fanatics and misogynists. It is an undeniable fact. The director chose to address the healing a family goes through as well as basic humanity we need to do regardless of our religious beliefs. What you are saying is correct, unfortunately people who have not read about monotheistic religion will simply make noise without understanding the foundations of its ideology. There are exceptions when someone don't want to follow islam and do everything that their holy book says as "Haram" but those exceptions cannot be taken as what has been portrayed in the movie. Has nothing to do with politics, it is simply how religions have indoctrinated human brains.

True.. monotheistic religion always work with the fundamental idea of my way or no way. They are always under the impression that their God is the only right God and every other God is false. I grew up in Saudi Arabia so I know what they really entail. But sadly the average person in Tamil Nadu has no idea how a monotheistic religion works and finds every chance to pull up slogans like 'Humanity above religion' or 'Every religion/God is the same' whereas I have never heard the same from the other side. I can only pity the ignorance of an average Indian. Respect is always a two way road.

This practise of Jouhar later became a norm among Hindu women whose kingdom had been defeated. They did this as the last resort to save themselves from the invaders. If you have had any conversations with your grandparents, have you ever asked them if they know anyone in the family who has performed sati. The answer would be a no because there was no need for this in TN. If you don't have any legitimate information, it is better to not open your mouth and make a f00l out of yourself in a public space.

Man people die every where and can happen to me and u and our kids. Will sit and wait to open ur religion google ? when will u get it? My son knows there is God and when he need some support he closes and prays, can be Rama , Allah or Jesus, who cares, he needs to be comforted and feel things will be fine. Exactly but the feeling should be there both ways. I just watched a video today from Pakistan of Imams singing that was aired on a Pakistan TV channel. Beautiful movie, great story, script and direction. I appreciate that they didn't dubbed the hindi dialogues to Tamil and retained the quality of the film. All leading actors did a fantastic job. Really the actress who did the role of the daughter surprised me the most. Realistic acting and feels like she is living the situation. I feel like she has the potential to be a legendary actress if she gets enough chances in future.

Some of the messages are powerful but some do not connect with. How come a girl who is studying in a college, even in a Hindi medium, does not know English? In the mortuary, the hospital labor/peon, gets a government employee salary. Still why he begs for some tips when delivering the dead body. In mortuary one govt. employee shamelessly accepts the money from a poor boy's hundi. Why they show the religious person, Yashpal Sharma as a tobacco/drug consumer? Is there any caste message in that?

The bilingual dialogues were beautifully scripted, especially North Hindi and Southern Hindi, very well written and played. Worth watching it, compared to other hyped movies. Sasikumar's stole the screen performance, Yashpal ji lived the character.. and the daughter character, acting excellent. Pugazh travelled the whole story.. well done Team.

For some reason I wasn't interested in the movie until today. Decided to watch it and WoW such an emotional movie. Yashpal, Preethi, Sasikumar, I mean every character in the movie did their part well. Well written and directed.
