I am always impressed with Mr. Khan this time is not the exeption ....but the movie itself was a disappointment, not sure what it glorifies more? crime or government corruption? For sure no winners in this.....

A little too much violence for me. But, the rest of the movie was fine. Really like Mahira Khan (had seen her in Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar hai) so enjoyed her performance w/dancing and singing. Nawazuddin Siddiqui held his own in this first time role with SRK. He played a convincing vengeful cop. And of course Shahrukh Khan was great, offering us a different character than those in his last few movies. Have to add Raees to my SRK collection. Thank you for adding this movie, a SRK fan from Connecticut USA.

Why are there cuts in this version of the movie? I noticed two--the first being the most significant: that incredibly dramatic first entry of SRK. Such a powerful moment and it isn't here! The second one I noticed was the beginning of the scene where the assassin tries to kill Raees--we see the chase but not what led up to it. Why?

Good Movie! Small update to einthusan team - once a user is logged in and being a premium user - the full screen doesn't work on an IPad tablet. Not just this movie pretty much on all movies this seems a functionality issue. Full Screen doesn't work on IPad Tablet.

It says "Loading Advertisement" and no progress after that. First ad plays before it gets stuck. Please fix the issue. It's happening for few Bollywood movies.

Great job by SRK and Nawazuddin. I think they could have done a better job in costume design as I didn't think it suited the era of the story.

After long time a good movie from SRK

EXCELLENT Movie. At first, It was difficult to receive SRK as this character. I am so use to him being the lover man that when he plays these harder roles it is difficult to receive it. He is so suave and I kept waiting for the romance to take over. At least he was a thug with a heart. A smooth criminal. SRK really owned this character. This is not the type of movie I can watch over and over, its way too heart wrenching but it is a captivating story and it was superbly done.

The 2017 Bollywood film Raees is said to be based on Latif's life.Abdul Latif was an underworld figure in Gujarat and an associate of Dawood Ibrahim.He was based in AhmedabadHe became a big-time bootlegger and eventually monopolised the illegal liquor business in Gujarat. Latif was wanted for over 100 cases of murder, contract killing, extortion, rioting, kidnappings, smuggling, bootleging and was also wanted in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. There were 243 cases against his gang including 64 murders and 14 kidnappings.He was the main culprit in supplying RDX used in the 1993 Mumbai blasts.

Interesting film! Politicians play the alcohol card cynically to win elections, whilst NOT alcohol free. Police party with alcohol/ bribes! Politicians change the rules to stop the land from being used by the poor buyers, for the purpose bought, to ensure their own lavish lifestyle continues unabated. Yet the law ignores the corruption of both the politicians/ police, as it they were sacrosanct. Raees in comparison the small fry "villain" is eliminated, execution style. Thus the movie ending is far from satisfactory. The songs Zaalima 🎵 and Saanson ke 🎶 are enjoyable.

Good performance by SRK, but very bad storyline. Looks like he just wanted to glorify Don Abdul Latif. Not sure what's the message form this movie- it's fine to kill hundreds of people as long as you help a few or that it is cool to be a Gangster? Oh wait, I forgot it's Bollywood- Fuck logic and message, let's just make some controversies and more money.

Movie was good overall, kinda fell in second half

Wonderful performance! SRK amazing as always. I wasn't sure who was worse as a character, Raees or the Police! The latter was suppose to be the straight one, but to me he was worse, since he was suppose to represent the law, yet he committed a crime! I ended up having more sympathy to Raees, but of course he was going to pay for his bad deeds sooner or later! Anyway, I really like the movie!

Majmudar, was worse than Hugo's Javert. Second time I watch this film. Wonderful performance by the entire cast, and SRK is amazing as usual!
