So glad I saw this classic movie. Thanks for the subtitles. I may watch more dated movies after seeing this. Just didn't like the dancing; chopppy...,dance is so fluid now days.

It only says 1.37 hrs, if I recall right, its a 4 hour movie.

Definitely a 4 hours movie worth watching! The heart-rending songs, the acting and performances are fabulous. I dont think this movie was a big hit when released, but I think it would be a block-buster if it was released today. Raj Kapoor is to be thanked for making movies like these and we will always remember him, for his good looks, mannerisms and risks in taking newcomers for his movies. Thru' him Bollywood got famous in Russia! HE was truly a masterpiece!
