If the past changes, it won't get erased the present in the middle. It would create another parallel universe to the current timeline. Otherwise, it would end up with a paradox theory. The current timeline never gets changed, the person who changed the past would be pulled into the parallel universe with an altered past. But there would be no change in the current universe and timeline. This proves the lack of scientific knowledge in the Indian film industry when compared with Hollywood.

From Hollywood, even a dumb director does a little research just before starting a film. Indian film industry it's a real LOL, you can keep laugh.

Well, I didn't watch the movie yet but something's wrong with your comment! really wrong!!. Blaming the "Indian film industry" in whole which is proved when you said "Indian film industry" compared to some other "wood" based on a single movie produced and released in the vast history of Indian cinema shows how "narrow minded" or small your thinking is! Pity You buddy. And talking about scientific knowledge and science, India taught basic lessons to world in it. LOL. keep your laugh too.

Actually, I just finished watching the movie, and Ravi B does have a point worthy of debate. In movies like Back to the Future, when they go back into the past and alter things, and get into parallel time line ( where they see 2 versions of themselves at the same time). Here they have a single timeline. Makes me wonder if we alter past karma, does it get erased in the present. One thing I loved was his girl friend who supported him when he confessed everything! Enjoy guys !

I mean Indian movies are good at classics, drama, and fictional categories. Most of the Indian directors don't even have any scientific knowledge to make any attempt. But in India, we have a lot of scientists and experts available, it is possible to approach the experts to get some suggestions. But I couldn't see any of the directors do this.

@Harsha N and @Ravi B - I finished watching movie too and I totally agree with what you said about the story. It needed more work on it for sure. I just reacted for blaming whole indian industry for a single movie which obviously is the meaning anyone gets. AND Ravi B, If that is not what you meant then its cool brother. Cheers.

When there is no concrete proof available to time travel/teleport between timelines. These hollywood movies were simply based on open ended flaws & not facts as there is neither a parallel universe nor there is proof that someone entered & returned back. Indian cinema was the pioneer in this concept, as we had a whole lot of really amusing movies back in 30's - 70's where one would easily cross the realms and return back at ease & it was presented to every audience group in the easiest digestible form. So, let's not mock the Indian Cinema.

Interesting theory, if another parallel universe to the current timeline which you mean to say will exist practically or it's only the imagination of the person who changed past? I am wondering how a single person can exist at two places at the same time?

Not a bad premise. Going back and forth in time is a time-tested (pun-intended!) formula for some interesting situations. Writing - they should have spent at least another couple of months in fine-tuning the script to make it more believable. Acting could have been much better.

I have not watched this movie but after reading the brief synopsis I recollect watching a smilar movie (Korean) recently. The title of the movie is "Il Mare". The male and the female lead both live in a sea side house two years apart in time, but are able to communicate through a mysterious mailbox. This film was remade by Warner Brothers in 2006 titled "The Lake House" starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.

So interesting movie to watch, if you like sci fi concept about changing the past changes the future you may like this with a murder mystery thrown in there. I found it entertaining but may not be for everyone.

Things to do if you're watching a movie: 1. Write 20 times, "I am not an expert in movie making, otherwise my job description would be different". 2. Have a long shower to clear all your Hollywood expert memories and possibly Korean. 3. Say 27 times "This is just a movie, someone is trying to make a living". 4. Say "I have have 2 to 3 hours to kill, which WILL NOT be useful to any soul. 5. At the end of the 2 to 3 hours, be happy that the objective of killing time is achieved. 6. Finish the movie, have a nice sleep.

Hollywood made dumb time travel movies too...its just fantasy, don't belittle Indian cinema...its just to entertain...& if it keeps you watching, it has. If not, than it's a temporarily taste thing of the moment of who is watching. Stop dishing your own ppl. I hate that, so unrespectful. Whatever cinema in whatever country if you don't understand the makers fantasy or interpretation. Be kind with words. Don't be so unpolite and harsh. Taste differs for everyone. It was a good watch

So unintelligent to give such a comment based on all Country,s movies. Like if one person in a country does something, all ppl of that country, are that way...Or if yr brother is....than so is yr whole family??? Its almost 2025, wise up & use yr common sense. And don't bash Indian cinema...Hollywood makes stupid movies too. I am proud of my origins & its achievements. Some great, some not. But that counts for ever country or ppl. Stop being general & old fashion thinking.
