Good & realistic movie!! (except first few scenes) 2 songs only.. Daily news, but can visualized the impact of crime, I agree with the director.. all over the world should be the area of one place as the red light with some regulation by government .. if it is, the crime will be decreased against CHILDREN & WOMEN !!

How pity! I understood you are not mature in thinking, I'm nearly 40 working in reputable department so I strongly believe about my thoughts. If government does with some regulations it's possible to control these crimes and protect innocent souls. If crime decrease then can catch some psycho animals easly. Then punish them like the Singapore govt. I can view beyond the limits and broad minded.. Not sure about that idea. You know what paedophiles will want in a red-light area don't you? Should close down the red light areas and people should have more self control and discipline. Women don't normally get in to sex industry voluntarily. They get abused physically and mentally. Just put yourself in their shoes. Would you like that?

Its a debatable topic. Either we need to make the laws so strict like Arab Nations or need to have dedicated areas like you mentioned. Just like Gun Ranges, Dedicated Vapor Stations, this can be done too

I've never commented on this platform in the last 4 years. This comment made me want to comment to say that this is the (most) stupidest (double superlative on purpose) idea ever. Prostitution isn't a profession by choice. Also, most rapist and psychos don't rape just for their sexual needs. They all can use their hands instead if that is the case. There are deeper psychological reasons such as domination, pressure, alcohol, feel powerful, etc. which make somebody perform such an inhumane act. red light areas don't solve those needs. (also, not against children. )

Good movie for a debutante director, Worth your time. Film takes off slowly but gets interesting before interval block and all the way till the end. Many may agree with the climax and director's thought. Had it released in a non crowded month, the movie could have performed much better.

Honestly NO one in this group is interested in what you strongly believe, BC its a movie site. Also NO ONE should use words like foolish or grow up to each other. Singapore is size of Chennai, so as u said you can be extremely strict with rules and regulations, but unfortunately other countries are big in size or culturally. NOT insulting anyone...

When so many movies nowadays are just a means used by certain groups to preach and change the minds of people in society, (especially the more changeable ones ) then I think everyone is entitled to criticise the message of the said movie. The said movie has no especial grounds or long term evidence to take into account to back up their message. No one can say something is beneficial to society until everyone is experiencing the result after some years.

For ages tamil cienma Glamour club dancers were only Reetah (christian) Movies likes Naan mahan alla has Dalits as rapists. And dalits had always been portrayed as nothing but goons in Tamil cinema for ages. And forever the innocent man would be a brahmin. Was this not an organized crime then ? Story is good.. screenplay is ok.. could have done better though, especially shortening heroism scenes.. but very good message and the climax scene is touching.. i liked when he says "when you get low or depressed, open the box and see".. good scene..

Apart from Rajani and Kamal Hassan movies, movies like VikramVedha made me interested in Tamil movies. But surprisingly, I see a new trend in these movies. Maybe my observation could be naive or wrong, but here it is - the villain is normally a worshipper of a Hindu God. Hero/his family is from other beliefs, and projected oppositely. It is not in just one movie, but several movies.
