Loved it. But I can see why some may hate it. Except for an extended birthday drinking session and confusing gangs in non-believable fights, this love story had a fresh take..... especially the ending. The new faces and talent kept this unpredictable and entertaining. The leads were superbly believable in their naive but complex roles.

This film is an absolute disaster; it's a complete waste of your valuable time. Even the Telugu film industry wouldn't stoop to creating such a grotesque and mind-numbing masala flick. The director of "Maine Pyar Kiya" should be permanently expelled from the Malayalam film directors' association, and he must be forever prohibited from ever making another film again.

Watched it for Preity. The main actor didn’t quite fit the role, and the fight scenes were hard to believe, but Preity did her best to carry an otherwise below-average movie
