Fakk the Haqq movie.... "propaganda movie.." -- some will say. But the truth is it is a human rights movie.. Only jee hadists will oppose the movie Haqq.. great movie 10/10 in my review. Must watch.. Even tho I am atheist I support this movie about human rights for muslim woman who was thrown out by her husband who gets to fukk 4 womens at a time.

Its an interesting one time watch for people not familiar with family law in India. The movie highlights the Shah Bano case which was used as an opportunity to attack Muslim personal law in the 1980's. True to Bollywood style there is heavy feminist propaganda with the husband shown as a bad guy. It does highlight some absurdities in Indian family courts with child support and maintenance being awarded without divorce. However heavy feminine drama ensures viewers are kept in the dark about how far behind India is vs. most other countries on family issues

Not in India, men cannot ask for custody, maintenance, alimony etc. from women, also no concept of prenup. Rights of women in family court are unlimited and they can ask for anything. India is a backward country

Excellent Movie based on a true story. For too long Muslim men to satisfy their sexual needs have accepted multiple marriages, without consent from the 1st wife. Women are treated like 3rd class citizens in this religion.

Agreed! Natural law is a philosophical and legal theory that posits the existence of inherent laws derived from nature and universal moral principles that are discoverable through reason. Without laws that are based on Natural law, there can be no justice. Given an almost equal distribution of men and women, one man can have 4 wives only if 3 out of 4 men are killed, which violates all human values, universally!

Sensitive film with a strong script, neatly made with a superb performance from Yami Gautam Dhar. Emran Hashmi is also competent in a negative role but one which does not go against logic. I cannot recall a lawyer in Hindi cinema underplaying their role like Sheeba Chaddha does. Unfortunately, the film slows down in the middle and nothing much happens. Also, no time is devoted to Shazia's relationship with her children. Worth watching!
