Movie was really far from impressive !! What could have been a real good action movie, based on true events.... turns out to be a low rated comedy. Even 2 stars for this is too much.

First of all, I am surprised that a movie was made on a crime that was thoroughly covered by the Indian Press. I doubt if the movie got the facts right? The coverage by the Press had highlighted the corruption and inefficiencies of Delhi Police force. Charles Sobhraj escaped from Tihar Jail on March 16, 1986, by orchestrating a meticulously planned operation that involved drugging the jail staff.

For every Inspector Zende, there are a thousand Goonde in the Indian Police forces: lawless and tyrannical, all part of a system left intact even after the British left but now abused by corrupt politicians, for abuses against the people, as per even my own personal experience! However, as always, Manoj Bhajpayee shines in the movie.

I found the storyline to be weak and movie to be predictable. It wasn't really a comedy and not a thriller either so kind of stuck in the middle. Average movie to watch in case you can't find anything more interesting.
