The songs made this movie so popular. In those days, this was one of the few movies we got to see Jaya in modern clothes. Even then, she was a sincere and good actress. However, to steal the show was as usual Balraj Sahni. His acting, his humility no matter what role he plays, his rapport and relationship with Nirupa Roy is so natural and believable. That is worth watching and for the songs which are being made into remixes over and over.
