No movie can match this movie in any category I.e. acting, performance, music, story, direction, settings, photography. This is even a lesson to Amitabh Bachchan, how the acting is. Hats off to Prithviraj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, MadhubalaDurga Khote, Ajitand so on....

Madhubala! What an enchantress and what a skilled artist! Wish her potential was recognised earlier. Truly a shame that we lost her at such a young age and in such a painful way.

Dilip Kumar's performance was the best! Everything from the cadence, the dialogue delivery, the emotion and immersion. Truly the king of tragedy.

Truly an epic! As Mohammed from Buffalo rightly states - this movie should become an acting manual for newcomers in Bollywood. The restrained but powerful performances and dialogue delivery from all the players is awesome to watch. The fabulous chemistry of Dilip & Madhubala, who was a natural beauty makes this movie 'unforgettable'. Since this is an epic, 3 hours no doubt is a long one to go through, but very similar to 'Ten Commandments' and 'Benhur'.

My parents watch it when I was 7/8 years old, they often talked about Madhubala's and Dilip Kumar's acting skills. I sure this movie were their favorite. Amazing movie.
