Everything great about the movie: story, acting, suspense, direction etc. etc.. Very enjoyable. Kept me focused and glued, as the story unfolded. Moral of the story? Besides being blind, love at first sight can be a life changing experience! But there is a lot more to guess and wonder. Enjoy!

I think he confess that he steal the guy wallet and he gave his own ring to Maria (he acted like he stole it but it was his own ) , so he will surrender as a thief and not as a killer. Or he will be accused of thief and murder , because he returned back (when they dropped him) to steal in her house , but he "met the guy and killed him before stealing"... Both to save Maria

Awesome movie. Slow moving but absolutely thrilling. Its mostly Katrina's show, Vijay however excels with his dry wit, smarts and sacrifice. Lot of story is told cinematically (Non verbal) need to pay attention and observe to follow.

Merry Christmas is one of the best romantic thrillers of recent times. Romance is understated, thriller is done well and subtle. I have watched the film 4 times (once in Tamil on big screen and thrice in Hindi on netflix) and all the dots are connected without spoon-feeding. And the chemistry between Katrina and Sethupathi is awesome. The music songs specially Nazar Tere toofan hai and Raat Akele thi are on my list and playing non-stop for 2 months still it hasnt got old. Sriram Raghavan is GOAT
