Movies such as this one are what pushed me over the edge in my love for Indian cinema! Full of amazing talent, several smaller stories making up the one movie, so much packed into one movie! For younger viewers, it may seem too dated, but for an old woman who has greatly enjoyed movies my entire life - such movies are timeless and greatly appreciated!

Mandakini did very good job for her first movie. This was her first movie. All dance looks like trained dancer and her face expressions are so much better than those who are in movies for years. She did good job and she gave her 100 % in this movie. She looked very pretty as well. Over exposing body was so new for that era that is why this movie did not do well in Mumbai but I remember all songs were so popular that all Rickshawala were palying. May be in other states of India was succesful.

OMG ......I CAN NOT SEE THAT BEATING UP WITH STICK - WHY SO HARD ON HIM .......IT LOOKS REAL AND May be they did it real beating up. How can a Father do this to his own son - to harshly criticize, punish with stick and beating up like he is going to kill him.
