American, Russian, French or Spanish - most horror films will never be in the running for an Oscar (Yes, I left Japanese and even Korean out of that list on purpose) and this movie is no different. If you're looking for an Indian horror flick, this one is fine for the typical B type movies that horror movies usually are. Even the acting was not bad, especially from people I'd never heard of and the script was limited - it made certain to include enough that we could catch on to the story, but I didn't see a need to rate it low.

@ kaushik m. and others - as a VERY satisfied user of Einthusan who is not an employee nor related to anyone who is, I'd like to remind you that these folks have always been very prompt to respond to any concerns when I'd send e-mail to them and very thorough with their answers. I have also belonged to Netflix, I'm a disabled, senior citizen, so I enjoy what I can do and mostly that's watching movies and TV series and I prefer Indian cinema. Anyway, once I contacted managers & got help, a lifetime membership here is absolutely better than Netflix - best site for Indian w/subtitles is here!

Great performance by Revathi and rest of the cast. A film that was perhaps two decades early for its time.
