No matter how many times you see this movie, you salute the maker and the performances of all the actors who played their roles in this classic. Without a doubt Amit steals the show, but Shashi's romantic and loyal performance as the other brother compliments this duo beautifully. The two loves faded into insignificance in front of Nirupa's maternal power. She went on to become Amit's mum in almost all his films, as her height and built made it very realistic.

It's ridiculous. Ridiculously classic and possibly the best acting all around in Indian Cinema. Amitabh ? OMG. NONE shall match. NONE. There are no words to the acting and the writing. Every note hits. Every scene is a feel on it's own. WOW. If you have any negative thing to say about this classic, you need to understand cinema .... and acting in cinema.
