Witnessing the real Vadivelu sir after a decade, fahad is exceptional in his unique ways. A Wholesome movie with very good direction, music and performances. The Jatara song from maestro ILAYARAJA was a classic comeback and added to my playlist. Great movie and a must watch with exceptional talent and performances on the screen

Maareesan is one of the best films of the decade, captivating viewers from beginning to end. Compared to recent Tamil films that lack compelling plots, this is a welcome change. Fahad Fasil gives Vadivelu room to shine, and his performance is a true testament to his dedication. The soundtrack by Yuvan Shankar Raja, particularly "Orey Oru," aptly conveys the emotion of the movie. In addition to being humorous and entertaining, the film addresses important social issues, such as the mistreatment of girls by certain school teachers.
