started watching the movie with real high expectation, but ended up with a bad experience. I couldn't like it at all. I would rather give this movie a "0" rating. However, the performance was good, specially Saif Ali Khan did really well in that "bad guy" role.

Poor graphics and sound effects spoiled the movie.

this movie will remain icon for life...after watching both chapaak and tanhaji,now i understand why tanhaji crushed chapaak badly

Performances are impeccable but still there technicalities that plaque Hindi film making, the theme gets repetitious as if you are watching a virtuosity against evil fest.

Real history fact: Saif Ali Khan is son of 9th Nawab (king) of Pautodi. Historically, A kingdom given by Britishers to his great-great-great grand father, Faiz Talab Khan, by Britishers in 1804 for helping in war against Maratha. In movie Saif helped Mughal and in real life his great-g-g-grands helped Britishers, and both against Maratha.

After watching a series of fantastic movies like Magadheera, Bahubali, Bajirao and Padmavati...movies like this and Panipat pretty much look substandard concoctions! They really need some lessons from Bhansali and Ranveer!

I am one of those who paid the lifetime premium and all was fine till last week when I suddenly find that I am being classified as someone who is a normal member and has not paid the lifetime premium - I am just hoping that this is a glitch and not something that I will have to take up seriously with you folks. Anybody thinking about watch it, I just want to tell you it is such a good movie. Had the right amount of romance and action and the performance was mind-blowing. Some bits seemed a bit fake like the animals. It was a bit gory. Nevertheless, a very good movie and I'm going to be talking about it for a while.

Best historical movie i have seen so far, reflecting the past, and great worrier like Subedar Tanhaji Malusale, people come to know about him. Hope Bollywood might inspire to make moives on Shri Chtrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Shi Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and many more like them. Thanks to all characters of this movie, Ajay Devagan is always my favorite actor and The way Sharad Kelkar played the role of Shri Chtrapati Shivaji Maharaj is magnificent.

I like history movies. i was waiting for this one. Story line is great as History but presentation is not good. i like Ajay Devgan, kajol and Saif Ali Khan. out of all three Saif Ali's negative role is good but ending is not satisfied. In OMKARA saif Ali Khan ( as Langda Tyagi ) plays best negative role. So far i like best history movie is Sanjay Lila Bhansali's Padmavat. Ajay Devgan is best actor but most of his home production movies are flopped.

Good Grief! Cringeworthy Propaganda. All the slow motion fighting and dancing is silly. Two people who do well are the actor who plays Shivaji and Saif Ali Khan. Clearly he enjoyed himself playing the villain. Kajol is wasted.

I had high expectations from this movie. Uses of green screens were very obvious, and the CGI was very disappointing. Comedy scenes just made it worse, not necessary on a storyline such as this. Saif's interpretation of his character made it appear like a cheap copy of Khilji. Very poor execution to a great storyline. Only Sanjay Leela Bhansali can do justice to such great storylines. And whoever wrote the dialogues, time to get a new job buddy because writing dialogues is definitely not your forte buddy.

Great History lesson for all Indians with good performances by everybody. The evil villian is always remembered most due to the havoc they create, very well played by Saif. Ajay & Kajol made a very good pair, but the gentleman playing Shivaji was so alike, that I actually thought it was him come to life. Well chosen!

One of the rare Bollywood movies that made me cry. Hope the Hindi film industry continue to redeem itself

Fantastic movie. Kudos to director. The 'Shankara' song choreography is EXCELLENT. Though its an historical truth, i suppose, but the ending is not any true hearted person wants this way. However, for the movie making concern, its very well done.
