

I'll admit this movie was difficult to watch. The storyline is bit confusing but it is your typical struggle of the poor common people in Mumbai. They are stuck in a situation where it is a no-win situation. I had to fast forward some part because I felt the story was getting too long to be told. It is a slow paced movie with some good scenes. I would consider this movie an "experimental" type of Indie Flick. Not your average commercialized film. I would probably skip this movie unless you have nothing better to watch.

This is not an Indie Flick at all, in fact a big studio, a famous director and music director all collaborated on this film. It did not have a huge budget from what I understand but, not because they are experimental, but because it is more of a character portrayal that captures human emotions especially sibling bonding, rather than the huge scenery or VFX, budget swallowing productions. I enjoyed it.

This is a beautiful movie! Must watch! Human emotions are so beautifully portrayed , sometimes feels like poetry. Great acting by all the lead actors, superb background score by AR RAHMAN. Majid Majidi's story telling is unique.

Impressive debut by Ishaan Khattar. Wish they had worked a little more on the ending, tie up loose ends maybe?

Its a nice movie to watch as there is no artificial or in movie language commercial elements. However the lead actors and the supporting crew did a wonderful job which gave the movie good strength.

By far one of the best hindi language films i have ever seen. i am shocked by the near perfection of the choices the director made in this film. Yup if you love salman khans film. If you loved Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, or dhoom 1-2-3 etc. Well no you may not be able to digest any story told for adults or smart kids lol Otherwise watch this film and you may enjoy it.. and forget about these musicals you normally watch which have died out in every part of the world for almost a 100 years

Really good movie, I didn't expect the end. But Ishaan Khatter showed us a very promising debut. This movie succeeded to keep me interested, until the end. And the evolution of the characters are well played.

Probably one of the best movies ever made and certainly one of the best in the Hindi section on Einthusan. I'm surprised I had not heard of this movie anywhere else. So much beauty in the story and characters. Particularly the lead character. Growing up under very difficult circumstances, and lured by easy money at every step under the shadow of crime, but still showing his humanity when called for.

Great film. All the aesthetic qualities of great iranian cinema in an Indian setting: the result is stunning. I love slow-paced films with great acting, beautiful photography and well-written characters: "Beyond the clouds" has it all. A good thing that the director chose Malavika Mohanan instead of K. Ranaut or D. Padukone: she is perfect in the role!
