That is like me complaining to Netflix to upload and request to sped up the upload process. What difference will it make? It will be available soon. Be happy that Einthusan is not asking for monthly subscription like Netflix but only asking for one time payment for life time membership. So, deal with the process and let Einthusan do their job as they wish. Just enjoy the movies. Watch other movies while waiting. There is a huge archive of movies here. :)

Hi, I am having trouble watching any movies because of black screen and play button not being visible on my smart TV which happened just five days ago. Before that, everything was fine. I can still watch movies on my PC but I prefer the TV. Do you know how I can turn off the adblocker on my smart TV? Kind regards

You have to use chromecast. Such as google chromecast. Get chromecast and then you can stream to the TV using the laptop wirelessly.

It’s a melodrama, u will like if u like movies like bheja fry, Crash, Life in a metro, etc. But there's a point to the melodrama in Kaalakandi. The film shows how in a short span of time, multiple interlocking lives start to implode. It's like everyone's on edge, all the time. Good cinematography especially the psychedelic effects. But the movie is not for all. 3/5. I enjoyed it. worth a watch if you have experienced Mumbai madness.

That's a stupid statement, i can understand why people are hating on them, but some of them play roles in pretty good movies like Billu Barber, SRK was fantastic in that movie, You literally spitting out nonsense out of your mouth. Sure they take roles in crappy movies but they still have potential to be in good ones, and they aren't even bad actors. As for this movie Kaalakaandi, i enjoyed it more than those casual love story films, i know the movie is not for all, but you need to understand films and genres to before criticising.

I think this was a great movie, not sure why you're saying he could do better, the character his portraying has gone through so much in life and has never done anything bad and is faced with cancer, his acting with the experience of drugs, alcohol and smoking seems almost genuine, not real but genuine. His acting skills were spectacular in some scenes.

I found this movie spectacular. Out of the box and was good enough to seek my attention till the very last moment. I genuinely feel this is one of the good Indian movies. It was hilarious with good comic timings. I would say " Saif is a very underrated actor." I like his experiment in movie choices, and this one is a good choice. Highly recommended to watch it.

Movie was enjoyable - short & sweet. It traces the paths of 3 sets of people over 1 night - a young couple (with the lady set to fly to America for further studies), Saif / his brother and family, and a couple of endearing “gangsters”. Saif’s track had the least (interesting stuff) going on. However, I thought the director presented his hallucinations quite well visually.

The interactions of the gangsters were quite funny and enjoyable. In my opinion, the movie does not really fall into any one category - comedy (“dark” or otherwise) / thriller / action / drama / etc -- It is a nice mix of comedy, drama and imagination. Saif’s scenes with the prostitute stretch for a bit too long. In general the movie would better appeal to slightly older / “mature” audiences with more accepting sensibilities.

This movie is a departure from the traditional Bollywood style. It's real and gritty and explores the character development of a dying man. Usual Indian audience that only likes movies like Singham, Dabangg, Housefull, etc. won't like it. If you like Anurag Kashyap, Ram Gopal Varma... stories with realism and believable human beings, you'll love this. Don't listen to the comments below. Take it from someone who studies film. It has its weaknesses, but its monumental in storytelling. Should be in Netflix.

This movie was amazing. Very subtle and dark humour, amazing performance of Saif. A modern and hilarious movie. Can't understand why such a movie didn't work, while crap movies like Race 3 are blockbusters. We have to educate the public, I guess. Kaalakaandi is a must watch, definitely.

Great movie! Great filming! Saif Ali Khan becoming better and better. Absolutely not "mainstream" Bollywood film, though, and it feels good, but reading the comments shows how puzzled people can be when film makers work out of the box. It has a western touch in the way characters are drawn, but in a Mumbai context. Really interesting.
