What a powerful film.. this should never be forgotten.. i feel angry beyond consolation.. well done for getting the bastard who ordered the massacre.. i would have got the bastards who were doing the shooting.. chun chun ke martha..

Thank you.. for sharing this story i knew about bhaghat singh.. but not sher/udham singh.. the film deserves and oscar and so does vicky kaushall, and the people of Amritsar deserve an apology.. lets make it happen..

Good movie. The only Hindi biopic worth praising. Very close to what actually happened but left out crucial bits. Udham Singh spent time in Mexico too. Would have been nice to have included that fact too. Anita Anand's book and this movie do justice to him.

Another master piece. Great team work, lining up for few national awards. Vicky Kaushal is perfect in this role, carried the role with sincerity. Director focused on the concept rather commercializing. Such cinema's do have their lion's share of viewers, so please keep creating. Last but not the least, music is subtle, just right to create the mood. Good job team.

Bravery is in Indian 's blood and SIKH people who played great role to get freedom . To get better government , youth should learn from UDHAM SINGH AND BHAGAT SINGH to bring REVOLUTION IN INDIA . There are so many such stories that has not till brought to light. We are taking this freedom we have now granted. By law of Karma, we will see British as country destroyed in our life time. They were and are still cruel, shrudh, UNCIVILIZED, white donkeys under tiger skin, Humanity eater, lier, and arrogant. Top of it, our own Indians, especially these anti-Indians, Congress, Khalistanies, Maoist, communist, Muslim terrorist, Chines....still killing Indians everyday....

Great movie … atleast we r starting to talk about unsang hero like this! And for people who felt boring, no wonder its India you can say or do whatever, freedom of speech !

Mr Vicky Kaushal has done pure justice with the character he played. All other artists performed at their best 10/10 for the performances and superb direction. This is not an entertainment movie but very informative biopic of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji. must watch movie highly recommended.

Great Movie..

I love the history of Sir Udham Singh, also read a book its just heart throbbing story BUT the Movie is really SLOW and BORING due to weak direction and screenplay.Once again i respect Udham sing ji but not the directos work sorry....but TOO SLOW...NO EXCITEMENTS ...NOTHING...It could have been much better with some Better Director.

A very hard film to watch dispassionately. The harrowing scenes towards the end leaving you consumed with white hot rage at the sheer barbarity of the atrocity committed that day. Whilst Gandhi may have preached non-violence, the actions of Udham Singh at least made the British start to question how many more such acts they were willing to commit to maintain their dominion over a people who were restless for independence. It is fitting that Dyer became a pariah and returned in disgrace dying 8 yrs later. Sadly, he was spared the pain, agony, terror and senseless violence his victims suffered.

To all you young people, the pain of fighting a colonial power by ordinary people without access to the very weapons that were used, is nothing to think lightly of. The fact that even after 100 years the British Prime Minister -Teresa May refused to apologize to India and the bravehearts that fought the tyranny and the survivors of a mindless massacre tells the world oceans as to the amount of bias, prejudice and unnecessary pride that exists in Britain even today. This movie celebrates all the braveheart Freedom Fighters who sacrificed their lives to overthrew an EMPIRE. Jai Hind!
