The reason behind our freedom is people like sir Udham Singh and you have the audacity to say such thing on the biopic of the legend. If you or our parents are an Indian or belong any nation which was part of India during British Raj, please do yourself a favor, go and lick some Gora's ass and tell them you love them and ready to be their servant.

Are you stupid ? Man said his opinion and hes getting flamed. People like you are the reason Indian nationlism and patriotism is on a abnormal level. Nationlism leads to the downfall of nations , not being able to criticise something about India or something produced in India is just absurd. Total lunacy. Blind leads the blind. Political Correctness gone mad.

Well you have your freedom to criticize his review, he has his freedom to review the movie. Quite frankly it was the last 30 mins or so of the Jalianwala bagh incident details which were heartwarming for me. Melting me into tears to see so much pain. No textbooks, no movies have shown that incident to this level of detail than this. So the length was worth it. But that's just me.

I empathise with you Mo S. People- he is not criticising the character or the story behind it-if the movie drags on -it can get boring-most movies nowadays dramatise events to captivate the audience. Otherwise, it can be made as a documentary. Lets all be a little less emotional and accept opinion of the movie (not the character) at face value.

Good movie. The only Hindi biopic worth praising. Very close to what actually happened but left out crucial bits. Udham Singh spent time in Mexico too. Would have been nice to have included that fact too. Anita Anand's book and this movie do justice to him.

2 cents to you! a period film, a biopic (unless if it's about an actor or some dramatic person then agreed). Here it's about freedom fighter who is a man. Unlike most women, most men cannot express emotions with tears (they tend to regret, feel sorrowful from within). Moreover just because it's movie of a revolutionary he can't do extreme emotional stuff like zinda nahin chodunga, mein badla zaroor loonga..! For some characters that's just how much you can act

Good movie but Bhagat Singh was NOT a communist. He was a nationalist. Communists are not nationalists. Communists are henchmen of globalists and they don't believe in any nationhood. East India company which looted India for 300 yr was owned by the ancestors of modern day globalists. Both communism and capitalism was created by the same gang of globalists who own most major banks of the world.

Another master piece. Great team work, lining up for few national awards. Vicky Kaushal is perfect in this role, carried the role with sincerity. Director focused on the concept rather commercializing. Such cinema's do have their lion's share of viewers, so please keep creating. Last but not the least, music is subtle, just right to create the mood. Good job team.

There are so many such stories that has not till brought to light. We are taking this freedom we have now granted. By law of Karma, we will see British as country destroyed in our life time. They were and are still cruel, shrudh, UNCIVILIZED, white donkeys under tiger skin, Humanity eater, lier, and arrogant. Top of it, our own Indians, especially these anti-Indians, Congress, Khalistanies, Maoist, communist, Muslim terrorist, Chines....still killing Indians everyday....

A very hard film to watch dispassionately. The harrowing scenes towards the end leaving you consumed with white hot rage at the sheer barbarity of the atrocity committed that day. Whilst Gandhi may have preached non-violence, the actions of Udham Singh at least made the British start to question how many more such acts they were willing to commit to maintain their dominion over a people who were restless for independence. It is fitting that Dyer became a pariah and returned in disgrace dying 8 yrs later. Sadly, he was spared the pain, agony, terror and senseless violence his victims suffered.

To all you young people, the pain of fighting a colonial power by ordinary people without access to the very weapons that were used, is nothing to think lightly of. The fact that even after 100 years the British Prime Minister -Teresa May refused to apologize to India and the bravehearts that fought the tyranny and the survivors of a mindless massacre tells the world oceans as to the amount of bias, prejudice and unnecessary pride that exists in Britain even today. This movie celebrates all the braveheart Freedom Fighters who sacrificed their lives to overthrew an EMPIRE. Jai Hind!

This movie was gut wrenching to watch. So much that I ended up watching it in three different days. I cried my eyes out. I also come from a country that was British country, a country that was divided by the British. Learning about such things just makes me wonder, why do people from India still go out of their way for the British citizenship. My grandfather also fought as a British soldier in world war. They could have gotten the citizenship, but my grandma ripped the document into pieces and threw it where it belongs: the trash.
