Pure movie gold. Anthikad's fish called Wanda, a year before "A Fish called Wanda". Talent at its early best: Story(Siddq-Lal), Screenplay (Sreenivasan) and a heavy weight cast giving a master class in comedic timing (@ 0:13:30, fall-off-the-chair-laughing at reaction by ML and Sriniv upon seeing new MD) A true cult movie with legendary characters (Dasan, Vijayan, Pavanayee) Even the villains are lovable. Enjoy.

I can't recall how many times I've watched this movie. This belongs to one of my top 3 all time best Malayalam movies I've ever watched in my life as of today! Pure gold/diamond/platinum of a movie that depicts the reality of many struggling young Keralites that is willing to do anything to make ends meet (which includes leaving family and even Kerala) until an opportunity comes that will turn their lives in a positive way.
