Gosh! Wish Maniratnam takes a long break. His last good one was Kannathil Muttham Ittal. Can't believe that the guy who gave us gems like Mouna Ragam, Nayagan, Roja, Bombay etc has now fallen in a rut for the last few years.

The best movie I have seen recently. Mani Rathnam and A.R. Both of you should live for quite long time to give such wonderful movies for a very very long time. you have captured the modern love so well. Karthi has acted extremely well. The heroine was so fresh representing the modern girl. Lovely end. Thumps up.

Einthusan I am having trouble playing any movie after 7pm AEST. I am a premium user, what could be the issue

how and why do they fall in love? how does karthi change from being a maniac (he looks like a maniac too) to a caring person? there is absolutely no graph, no depth. storyline just sumps from one situation to the next. the idea of this story and the intention may have been good, but poor execution.

It was such a drag, no substance at all! It appears to be some forward thinking movie but M.R has totally lost the plot.I usually love Karthi but very disappointed in his acting except some scenes. Aditi is beautiful and fit to be a model. I don't see any acting skills, Absolutely no chemistry between the two. The only plus was the beautiful locations,cinematography,music and Rukmini's dancing and performance and nothing more! Very disappointing!

Mani Ratnam is loosing creativity. Just a timepass. No impact to society. Only good thing is it reminds us of the courageous Airforce service.

This movie is just photoshoot for the bikini model Aditi Rao. Mani Sir. What happened to your classic like Roja?

I think it was a very different take as opposed to most other movies I have watched before. The protagonist is more flawed than others... so much that you don't even want to root for him. It felt realistic! certainly, you need to have an open mind to accept. The biggest flaw in the movie was the appalling performance of Karthi and an average performance of others!

Lovely movie. Fantastic acting also. Visuls and scenery are amazing. Well worth watching.

This is the most realistic depiction of a modern day relationship. People who are watching the movie with the intention of seeing a filmy romance will of course not like the film. But if you watch it with the understanding that not every love is supposed to be a fairy tale, then you will truly appreciate the film.

Folks...Despite paying the "Lifetime" Fee...am NOT able to see many movies (this is my 5th attempt at starting a new movie both Hindi and Tamil) without buffering...or for that matter doesn't even start to play. Can you pls help address this...

amazing direction! but dialogues could have been way better. Karthi was not the right fit, though the chemistry between aditi and himself had worked out somehow.

omfg trust me u wont regret this movie, its not the action packed comedy stuff but dear god i looooooooooooooooove it. watched it twice, probs watch it again. one of my top favourites. a few comments are negative but it reallllllyyyy depends on ur style how u will like this.

What a lovely movie

Brilliant movie. Chauvinistic patriarchal Indian men are hiding their ego behind the wrong definition of love by objectifying women. Considering wife as a helpless precious object that needs care/concern isn't truly love. Defining Chivalry as to save damsel-in-distress is a egoistically skewed logic that says the dame is weaker and needs saving. True love is to consider them equal and enjoy them as is with freedom to express freely (men or women). Movie is way ahead of its time

Aditi and RJ balaji were excellent. Karthi gave his best, but falls short. Vikram would have been better.

this relationship seems freaking toxic to me... this should be a romantic movie :/ , just so disappointed and i cringed soooo much lol, only good thing about this movie is the scenery..

one of my favourite films and for the right reasons. we have seen tamil cinema portray toxic relationships recently through adithya varma and this movie. they do not intend to glorify these relationships, but simply show us that they exist, people do live these relationships as they choose to. one of the reasons why i love this movie is because of the music, the cast and the cinematography. but i feel like as an audience we should also focus on films which were deemed (1)

I would not recommend watching this movie if your expecting amazing storyline. The story had little to no meaning, idk if it was the acting/dialogues/story as an audience it made me feel very confused time to time what was happening and why. Also, I watched the songs before watching the movie, thinking this film would be how the songs are. It felt like the movie was carried only by the songs. On the positive side, aesthetics/visuals are quite good and few scenes go against very stereotypical society standards. if this was made now it would of come out well. it reminds me of sita-ramam.

I think the directing was good but the storyline seemed a bit week. tbh it didnt feel like i was in the 2000s while watching the movie. idk what made it like that but it could be the storyline.
