The last Chola movie I saw was Karthi's. I kept waiting that something interesting will happen . Then in ended.

very well made and good imagination. Used lingo which likely was used at the time. good research into the film. The research is better than PS. Too much violence but that is the story. Music and photography was excellent. Low budget and not much publicity but made well. Appreciate the team for an effort begging to differ from the mainstream cinema. Warriors looked like warriors. Well made.

The movie is hopeless. Full of noise, blood and violence.

What a movie. No one star is known. But superb acting and delivery. Music and camera is over the roof. Gives PSn or Bahubali run for money, no doubt

My overall honest judegment is this is a very good movie. I really dont know this is how the Pandians lived in the 7th century! However, the beautiful 'old Tamil' is a music to my ears and I wish I understood it without the subtitles. Its like time travel. I could see the effort put by the director. (Again, nobody can prove if that is how those people spoke then) Certainly this is much better than PS where the director ( And the story writer) completely distorted the history! I am eagerly awaiting the sequel!

Very well-done movie! It takes immense talent and determination to produce such a movie with significantly limited resources. What would this director do if only he has the financial backing that SS Rajamouli and Manirathnam have? Every single actor played their part so well. What is next?

I am irritated by the dubbing voices. The voices didn't suit the actor's appearance and role. Gee, I cannot believe someone would pay for such a worst voice. Very amateurish; I would go a step further and say these people don't have any knowledge in cinematography.
