I see one, Dhanapal s. is an avid Ajith fan. He gets frustrated at the society for hating this movie. I have several friends who would have similar passion for politics and idol-worshipping some politicians/leaders. But i am surprised to see such loyalties for Ajith/Vijay/Rajini. Ajith seems to be a very sensible guy in reality, i am sure he would be surprised to have such loyalties as well. It would be interesting to understand how folks like Dhanapal S became such loyal fans for a reel star to begin with.

Walk away from this mess. An overweight, acting-handicapped, senior Ajith milking the old and tired macho bullshit formula. Kudos to the stuntmen/women. But chases, bike stunts and action alone can’t save a movie. Perhaps hero worship still can. A frustrated Ajith yelling “you bloody criminal†at the villain was a humorous highlight for me. It would have been more entertaining if he had screamed “you bloody scoundrel†instead :)

Dhanapal S. I had many friends who loved John Wick. I did too. Except the third installment I couldn't stand it. In this case is wasn't Keanu's role but it felt like the entire movie was a never ending climax scene. The choreography was exceptional, yet the movie wasn't my cup of tea. You need to realize, criticism ultimately is part of this industry. Whether it's the actor, director, or the final film itself. The issue is when we idolize someone to...an extreme lol. Ajith, Vijay, whoever....they can make hits and flops, but they are the ones making the big $$$ not us lol.

I'm a thalapathy vijay fan. Was only hyped for the stunt secquences in the movie and it exceeded my expectation. The director should have cut out the family portions, added more backstory to the villain and edit some unnecessary scenes for the movie to be more racy plotwise and screenplay. It's an above-average movie with excellent stunt sequences and the performance of AK was good.

I know there are many negative reviews regarding this movie. This movie has decent content. There are no unnecessary additional songs and scenes such as romance songs, item songs and so on. The first half was so engaging regarding the investigation for many crimes created by the Satans Slaves in Chennai. Although this movie is lengthy, the second half provides us the value of mom and thambi relationship. I know the second half was very emotional. Overall this movie is a masterpiece and the overall rating is 10/10. Whether you like this movie or not, that's my opinion abut this film.

As well as there are not vulgar words spoken by all casts. I cried a lot at the last scene as that scene reveals youths missed their moms sadly 😥. Good movie, but also disappointing at the same time. Credits to Ajith and the stunts performed by others were awesome and people who are bike enthusiasts will agree. The disappointing factors, the action and cinematography sequence were a bit poor. The majority were wide-angle shots and didn't intensify the action that much other than the music. I don't know why Ajith's character was directed as such a low-level character. I wish they directed his performance more like Mankatha and Arramabam. The way he acted in that would have matched the enemies and made it more wild!!

Guys, I see mixed reviews about this movie. I am going to watch this movie one time irrespective of the comments. First of all, it's free. I can watch it over days. I can ff unwanted boring scenes. Nothing to lose.

To be honest the movie is engaging definitely one time watch. I liked it. I usually don't comment on threads like this in middle of so many Nolans and Spielbergs but definitely its your choice to like or not like an actor and better give a rating you feel like but but commenting on human/hero or people in general is BS. Most of us might not be able bend to see our own feet at the age where a 40-50 yr actors do so much to entertain us. All i say when i feedback on a movie is whether I like it or not. no offence guys !

Fully being aware that I'm about to set off some people in here, I am beyond compelled to write my opinion. I was warned by several people not to watch this movie, and although I went against my better judgement, I ended up turning it off half way. I wasn't too impressed with the action sequences especially the at the point when they try to take over the police convoy (similar to the Dark Knight opening with Bane) Ajith has always given exceptional performances to his films but ultimately it's the directors vision and lead that plays a huge role. In any case, this is my humble opinion.

I'm not a big fan of ajith or anything, in fact I'm a fan of vijay. But I really likes this movie. Good amount of action and comedy the storyline was eh okay. But overall a really good movie. I would watch it 2 times if I had too.

I enjoyed Valimai to a certain degree. The movie had its flaws but also its highs. The first half was enjoyable, but the second half was slow and kind of digressed. Actor Ajith Kumar has to be credited for his stunts and the effort he put in the movie. Really enjoyed the strong and independent portrayal of the female characters in the story. It was refreshing to see Ajith in this role though my recent favorite of his movies remains: Yennai Arindhaal. Valimai is a solid 3/5 for me.

movie was garbage. Some of the action sequences were nice. But other than it, it’s way below average. The story was bad, even the plot idea was bad. Just a bunch of characters foing nonsensical things. Just so the story stays afloat?! It was just dumb. Actors did a fine job of acting though. But the story was awful. Character building was bad. Not worth the hype. I regret wasting 3 hours watching this.

What a waste of time. At least I saved 40 mins of my life by not finishing it. Pathetic. This movie is good watching when you multitask. Like Cooking, Ironing, etc.. You won't have the regret of wasting time.

Definite watch.. Much needed message. Bit lengthy. Nevertheless, so much effort! Exceptionally challenging action scenes, and great work by Nirav Shah. Beware! Many negative reviews are purely understating the movie. This movie is a definite plus -- definitely not on the average side. Vinoth has proved once again. Truly exceptional bike stunts! Yes, some scenes could have been better. But, worth watching! No regrets. If you cannot tolerate action movies, please skip!

Stunts & actions wise, this movie is now the benchmark. Exceptional! But otherwise the story could have been better fleshed out. Disappointing, but good for a single watch. As usual, Ajith's movie can safely be watched with the family.

You can watch once for Ajith. The villain was a joke. Not a good selection. Action scenes were good (I liked the bus stunt the best) although most were done using technology. Hopefully no one would try the bike stunts. It was nice to watch the bike stunts.

I don't understand why we have so pay any attention to the hero's hardwork or difficulties or anyone's problems they faced in making the film. If the movie is not good, it's not good, that's it. If there is a company that makes biscuits and they make bad quality biscuits, will the public accept if the company tells them that their employees worked hard, day and night, and weekends, so please consider buying and eating bad biscuits. Movie is a business just like any other.
