Its a really good movie, well done in terms of editing, vfx, performance and screenplay. The only thing that caught my eyes as stupid was the helicopter scene. The operators who are supposed to be trained and knowledgable that this an airlift, get to the pick up spot and say, "we can't land" and they were going to leave. Yea no shit captain obvious, that's why its an airlift. Idk if that was added by the director because that's just stupid, if it was real and that actually happened, then its a shame for the Indian army/coast guard. Besides that, really well done.

We all know the story...and the movie just got me back in time..that guy who acted as the IG or DGP or watevr wt CM.. i dont know what his rank was that 2 mins of his performance with lot of unnecessary hand actions, was the only reason why i gave 4.5 for performance..

Truly man, what an amazing movie this is. Hats off to the film-makers and everyone involved in this movie, and especially I thank the children of the sea for helping during the tough time we all had to face, I loved this movie amazingly in the theatres, and I am so happy that I got to watch three more times in einthusan truly amazing work!!!

initially i thought ..i won't watch its about flood incident that we was in news already .... But ..... when i watched it after lot of delay ....i regret not watching it earlier. Absolutely thrilling and grasping to movie

Focus of the movie can rather dwell on the flood itself may be the cause and effects of it or it can be about the way forward. This movie making is good but it mostly portrays the resilience of the local people. One sided thought involved in portraying only few local people in rescue operations. The reality was not shown in the film thereby making the film boring. We get the feeling that this flood is not a catastrophic confrontation and we can save all lives.
