Moreover I feel like even if the movie is shit you can't discredit vijays acting. I don't really understand why people think it's that bad of a movie lol. You calling mersal better than master, leo says it all. Mersal was a really typical revenge script the reason it did well was release time period. If Mersal released in todays time everybody whould have trolled that movie to the core. Leo was probably his best in terms of script and acting. its only mistake was the forced lcu entry and the weak flashback portion.

He's contesting. He needs the worship. This movie is primarily appealing to the younger generation, which is his main voter market; so he has to make the movie about HIM which is what the younger generation want. There's a reason why Varisu and all the movies before were a different "Vijay", and Leo and Goat are a different "VIJAY". Considering his need to develop his party rapidly in time for the 26 elections, this is brilliant. Everyone who trolls looks at it from the base, and they don't understand all the bts work. A typical Vijay movie with all the commercial elements. Of course everyone wants to mint using Vijay's stardom. But he acted very maturely. I, myself being a complete idiot when it comes to movie-making, already thought of a better screenplay than this junk. Nice to see Prashanth (being a 90's kid myself), Sneha, Laila and PD master. All acted very maturely. I didn't connect well with Mohan sir though. He could have been used better. Kaniha ma'am is still beautiful. Overall, can watch once for the sake of actors. Not the story, or screenplay.

I cannot watch Tamil movies that have no discipline to script, storyline ad basic common sense. We have to stop this blind hero worship and this father son double action business. It gets old. (literally). Scene 1 starts with an anachronism - they released the first Samsung tablet in late 2010, not 2008. Do your homework when making a movie!

The Waste of all time. Outdated masala script and screenplay and action sequences .I was guessing the movie from start to the end. After LEO my expectations were really high. Disappointed totally . YSR below average bgm and music.

The trailers and songs were not encouraging so I kept my expectations low, and even that was not enough. I was able to survive the first 15 minutes in pain, wincing through the awful usage of Vijaykanth cameo, and by the time the initial action sequence was done, I knew the wavelength the movie was aiming for. What a disappointing venture. Personally, Vijay's best in the past decade is Thuppaki and Kaththi. Everything after has been a disappointment or quite derivative. Hoping his last delivers.

A decent movie, with few high moments. The comment section just shows the hatred towards the actor, probably fans of a certain top actor. System sari illa. I saw a review when the movie was released, where the reviewer was saying when Kalyan killed Menon's family why does he take revenge on Gandhi. Now after watching the movie, I was thinking did he even watch the movie?
