It is the worldview that makes differences and the values that come with it. Specifically, values for human life. Have you noticed almost all of the comments comes from a western world? They left because of their culture and what it has done to their country for Millenium years. Now, the western world too becoming more like the third world countries. Because their world views too had been changing.

What about slums in other states ex : Mumbai, Delhit, Kolakatta ? Who is responsible ? This is the result of Big fish eating small fish. Rich people buy the land at sky high prices. Poor will sell and move away.

I lived for 25 years in a place called Metha nagar in chennai and behind my house is a big tributary of Coovam river and on it banks there is a lot on space in Summer but filled with water during rains and here overnight dozens of huts are put up by local people to claim the houses offered by government and like this is done all long the 100s of kms of coovam. most of the houses are a scam of the government to sell and make money.
