This is genuinely one of the worst movies you'll ever watch. The plot is really bad, the CGI/VFX are bad & in some scenes completely unnecessary. The prosthetics are actually worse than the original movie. This is what happens when a director, who was once ahead of his time, becomes outdated & doesn't understand the audience anymore, Shankar has become like RGV or Francis Ford Coppala. There are no inappropriate scenes in this movie so you can watch it with family & it's not overly violent. The nerve attack fight scenes have been made to be really stupid in this film too. 1/5.

It was a complete waste of resources, as Shankar squandered Kamalhasan's talent, producer's money and the time of the audience. Instead of directing films, Shankar ought to concentrate on his daughter Aditi Shankar's glamorous dance programs and generate income. Scrap and loud noise from the copycat Anirudh makes the movie further worse.

I really wasted my time on this film. At 1H30 no more for me. Thank you i am very disappoited with great and talented Sir kamal Hassan... Why does money give you the right to stupidy. This same money could have built shelters and fed he needy. Very sad ;(

Noobs who pretended to like Shankar movies finally saw a Shankar movie and are now dissing it. The movie is perfectly fine for what its trying to do, and is very much like a Shankar movie, even moreso than whatever 2.0 was. Is it a masterpiece? No. Its a perfectly serviceable movie.
