Another masterpiece from the combo.. Though seems like there might be a sequel, I prefer leaving this way.. The acting is good and as usual, STR is a natural.. The heroine seems a bit off.. Good effort.. Music - OMG.. Awesome.. And Radhika ma'am is really a natural born rural actor.. She needs to play in such roles often.. I have huge respect for her..

Well thought movie that I watched in cinema. Mumbai backdrop is very real and so is the narration of how the local gangsters operate. Beautiful bgm by isaipuyal.

Outstanding movie. Hat-trick for the STR-GVM-ARR trio. Songs & bgm were good. STR’s best, award worthy performance. A different try from GVM. Eagerly waiting for VTK-2! The last get up for STR was stunning!

I like the movie. I read the story in 2 lines before watching and each part goes pretty much with an expected next scene. No thrill as most of us has seen similar ones in the past. Songs are not that popular. Simbhu seen as usual differently as the story moves gradually. Scenes coincide with real-life, some may differ on showing the poor nature after seeing lots of luxury style of living.

Very well done, all aspect of a movie is covered.. romance, action and best of all a damn good story line that makes sense and not some nonsensical stuff. Hats off to STR for a mass performance and the rest of the crew did a very good job as well!!

I watched this movie last week; going to watch it again tonight or tomorrow. Good one. Kandippa once paakalam. Lots of gangster movies before, but still this one has excellent direction, storyline and tension build-up.

what an amazing movie , brilliant story , acting and direction. this is the first part and its a nice slow burn! look at this movie by itself don't compare to other movies. BG by AR Rahman with mind bending vocals ! true classic !!

Simbu, Signature act is no more... coz GVM , These days most of the screenplay are based on Gangster / Don & Mumbai based script. Although story is based on rivalry gangs, Simbu always escapes.. much of positivity.. Heroine story line looks predictable... Starting from Mani Ratnam to GVM, when it comes to Heroine.. they portray always from lower Class ... Chembur is a known place for Tamil and Mallu rivalries ... Good to see Simbu as Hero with less punch dialogues !!

On par as KGF and Pushpa in both storytelling, emotions, action, and range of motion acting of leads and support actors and crew. STR best performance drawn out as humble, reserved, but respectful fiery person from a rural village community where he normally plays strictly no-nonsense suave arse-kicking jack. Probably STR’s best full spectrum performance. Can’t wait for sequels to all KGF-Pushpa and VTK!!!
