Thank you very much, Einthusan, for uploading this wonderful movie. I like this lovely and lively movie as much as Mandela. The storyline is not unpredictable, but so natural and rich, with all characters shining like stars. The scenery is very beautiful. The producers, director and production team must be very proud of their achievement. Unlike other "big countries" film productions, Indian movie makers are gifted and lucky to have a chance to tell a story with your heart, and reflect on the real life.

Very nice movie!.

The movie was well produced so hats off to them. However, the story was very interesting, even if it was a village movie. We can learn about the villager's problems and that the villagers can get good benefits.

Surya the producer who is a dmk agent just brings his political worst things inside cinema which is bad.. And no story just waste

Very good movie. Except for Ramya Pandian, everyone's acting was very natural and casual. Wish they could have casted a better female actor for Veerayi role. Neither her acting nor dialogue delivery was good. Hero and other supporting actors performance were too good.

Movie , actors, direction all are good. Only thing should be avoided is anti-nationalism sentiments in between the dialogues. Director or story writer definitely having leftist thought which is predominantly seen but, constructive criticism is always welcome, here, biased and egocentric comments are seen which could be avoided. No agenda, any crowd can watch the movie for one time.

village does not have electricity due to ANILs....ANIL arasu of dmk.. movie is a real garbage...copycat of ranga patanga movie..but garbage copy....one word review for this movie...'sakkadai'...

shows perfectly..situation of people during dmk rule...dmk ruled tn for more than 25 years...like mandela..this is the pathetic situation of all villagers...only karuna family got rich...rest all are poor

Fantastic - one of best movies. I am in my mid-40s. work in corporate finance. It there is any political background story behind this movie if any, I have no clue. Nor I am not aware of. However, for someone who values simplicity & authentic (one's skills, story, performance & all else), if you are that type, then, you would love this movie. Actually, one of best movies. But, if you are not that type, you may not like this, as some of reviewers.

Nice storyline but stupid political mixing spoit it. Stupid.

peculiar sort of movie, and i don't mean that in a bad way. am guessing it's probably based on some semblance of truth. movie felt aimless at times, especially at midpoint, but eventually wrapped up well enough. above average timepass with the same old cliched themes of political corruption and villager naivety 3.5/5

I liked the movie a lot. I was more happy when Kunnimuthu got his two bulls back to see the moment was very emotional and touching.

A documentary would've been more interesting. Awful movie. Some people feel so obligated to promote these kinds of movies! Sad!!
