What is Kottayam ? I am from Rajasthan (Bikaneri) but some of the dubbed movies are good from South India and no nonsense like some of Bollywood movies ..I live in Georgia (USA) since 1970

It needs a certain level of tolerance to understand other languages movies.. most northern Indian still thinks that southern Indian is from a different continent. I met only 1 other persons who watched southern movies

Yes ..lots of tolerance for northies to watch southern movies. Most northies still believe that Chennai is entire south India.. and Chennai is a big state. Same .. never met a Tamil guy who can speak Hindi and watch hindi movies. But malayali are different.. they adopt to any culture.. to the extent of forgetting their own language
