Good acting but the story was messed up in between. A good portrayal of the darker shades of journalism but felt weird to watch CP uphold a conservative view of India. Good enough for one-time watch.

The movie is good. Convincing performances and casting. The protagonist going over the top acting in some areas is necessary for the character. Personally, feel the movie would have done better if released a few years ago. Not that it is not apt for today, but the issue of media competing among themselves and affecting people's lives have been dominating for a good few years now. The movie is a little predictable at times, except for the climax ( trying to avoid spoilers here).

The first half was ok. The second half is deplorable. Abu's attempt to demonstrate radical feminism and neoliberalism is evident (e.g., the aged daddy serves coffee & food to the daughter throughout the day while the daughter refuses to acknowledge the effort).

Not sure why there are some negative response... Anyway, so, the story is great, talks about the media atrocities, It went straight to the point instead of giving a brief history on one or more characters, no unnecessary drama. Anna ben character is simple and amazing, mainly because her character (Confident, hardworking and prompt) overpowers her looks (small and meek). I generally like all her movies but this would be my fav. Even though Indrans appears in the end, did an amazing job. These 2 characters stood out for me and liked them very much. Thank you for no songs and unnecessary BGM.

An attempted crash course on the Arnabs and RepublicTVs of India? It has some level of truth no doubt. But it feels like an oversimplification of the matter. The state of our national media is worse than what's shown here and the powers behind it are significantly more vicious. And the outcomes of their actions much more dangerous.
