MOHMMAD p.Absolutely bro. I am sure you are talking about Baluchistan, Pashtun and Sindh that need liberation from occupation from their Punjabi masters at the same time reverse and resettle the 1/2 million kashmiri pandits (the actual inhabitants of the land) who suffered a massive 7 wave exodus. That will absolutely bring peace to Kashmir and humanity, while one does not see any other recourse than splitting this anachronistic state of Punjab colonizing the other states (pakistan ceased to exist when the majority split in 1971 and called themselves Bangladesh, btw).

When the seed of fanaticism forms root in any society, then reason leaves the place. Radical Islamists have brainwashed Kashmir. Poor and innocents become victim in this nefarious scheme, whether they are regular Kashmiris or army soldiers.

The point is in teachings and what translates out of those teachings... there are always alternate theories to every thing... you call radical Islam or radical Hindu but never ever have I seen any one raise a doubt about Christians or any other religion for that matter !,!! As stated earlier counter theories are in each and every religion. Did you already forget Christchurch, nz so soon? Also what do you think is happening in Syria or Middle East ? It al depends upon what rose color shades has one put on their respective eyes !!!

Bert D. Not sure there is such a thing as radical hinduism anywhere in the world, leave alone India. Hinduism and radical do not go hand in hand unlike the Abrahamic faiths. So yeah, not sure what you are talking about but feel free to live in your cocoon.

Radicals aren't allowed to own a mirror. Many experts seem to think that Kashmir is a flashpoint for WW3, except the radical Hindus.

Birat B Yeah the same experts that predicted world war I and II. The only radicals are the ones in Kashmir blowing people up and their surrogates masquerading as social justice warrirors. Uhm you know who I mean by that.

Raj N. must be living under a rock to say that Hinduism and radicalism doesn't go hand in hand. Why dont you leave the comfort of living overseas and go live in India and see what people go through in the name of religion and politics. Radicalism is just an excuse for the evil doers in our society , has nothing to do with religion.

“My conscience won’t let me go shoot my brother, or some darker people, or some poor hungry people in the mud for big powerful America. And shoot them for what? They never called me nigger, they never lynched me, they didn’t put no dogs on me, they didn’t rob me of my nationality, rape and kill my mother and father. … Shoot them for what? How can I shoot them poor people? Just take me to jail.” - Muhammed Ali

Yeah but Kashmir belongs to the Kashmiri pandits. Wonder who is going to make a movie on the actual inhabitants of the land who were forced into an exile, an exodus of sorts by the now majority locals. And the freedom and wealth the likes of Muhammed Ali and several blacks live in the US as compared to their brethren in Africa is unparalleled so I would not pay too much credence to a semi literate sportsman.

what a tribalistic and petty mentality you have got. your "tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye" attitude is a hindrance to objectivity. Muhammad Ali was a world champion, what are you again?

Kashmir belongs to Kashmiris...Hindus and Muslims alike. After years of the same philosophy, we don’t learn. “Divide and conquer.” It’s worked for years, and it will continue to work for years to come. Seems even education and experience can’t quell that storm. A shame! A beautiful movie...honest and fair.

Birat B: I don't have to explain to you who or what I am. Definitely a person with values. Osama bin laaden was also accomplished, mastered the art of Islamic terrorism, so what? Perhaps you may want to look up the word karma. It is a bitch instead of quoting some Abrahamic mumbo jumbo.

no idea why you are slaving yourself away in the USA instead of fighting for your Hindu warlord on the crusade against Islam? I hate the Muslims, the Christians, and the Jew ...maybe I am estranged, maybe a little deranged ..yes, am lonely, I am desperate, friends I only have a few ..but it doesn't matter as long as 1 dollar gives me 70 INR in the foreign exchange ..Cha ching cha ching cha ching...

Wow! Exquisite! This movie is a poetry in motion, rich in texture in its simplicity as woven through a young boy, Hamid. The folly of humans fighting humans, and the innocent lives torn apart could not have been whispered any louder! Beautifully crafted. Beautifully acted. Hamid is beyond praise!

i have just watched the beginning of the movie and want to write something about the army and police in our countries. why do they behove so bad? why should people be afraid of them? i am in europe and here people talk with police as they do with friends. police are so friendly and the Behavior is amazing. but in our countries the police are so wild and angery always.

I stopped watching this movie after 20 mins. Seems like Islamist propaganda movie. Was this sponsored by ISIS or Al Quaeda or Hamas or Hezbola or any of 150 other terrorist organizations? Seems like it. They have huge funds. Name one continent which is not hurting from Islamic terrorism? Cant even compare rampant existence of Islamic terrorism with radicalism that exists in other religions as exceptions (edge cases). Islamic society needs to recognize, accept and find remedy

Between 2009-2019, there have been 287 hate crimes in India. 102 deaths and 720 injuries. 58% of victims were Muslims, 13% Hindu, 15% Christians. 12% of perpetrators were Muslims, 57% Hindus. 28% of the crimes were committed in the name of cow protection, 14% for interfaith marriages, 9% were communal clashes. Why not solve the problems within the nation first, eh?

Again you are comparing cents to dollars. How many people were murdered by Islamic terrorist bomb blast in Sri Lanka alone in a single incident? You need to calibrate your scale. There is no comparison of these hate crimes with large scale massacre by Islamic terrorist. Again as I said, first step is to acknowledge the problem. Larger Muslim society has obligation to fix this otherwise they will continue to be marginalized and one day all advanced nations will bar them

This movie and the child will be in my mind for a long time. Amazing acting by everyone, especially the child! I forgot I was watching a movie! Reality portrayed very honestly. There is no right or wrong side. Innocent lives are being affected. Hope and wish there is a sane solution ! When are people going to realize that the foreign elements are using these innocents as pawns. Lack of education and poverty leads to desperation! Educating these children might be the only light that might get them out of the darkness. God Bless!

Because this is India, a movie like this or so many others that raise questions about war, military, the suffering of common people all can be made and shown. That is democracy for you. It brings about changes for the good. In other areas of this world, for example Pakistan featuring some story set in Baluchistan, a movie like this will be banned, the director and producer gunned down, the actors given fatwa against.
