This movie follows the same lines as the original Hindi version with slight changes and is a good movie but the original Hindi version is much better in all respects. Shraddha Srinath could not match with Taapsee Pannu in emotional acting scenes. Also, nobody can act like Amithaph.

I disagree. Both Amitabh and Ajith acted well. These days even new- comers in supporting roles give excellent performance. Acting is not confined to certain group / people like in old days. Same with singing.

When remaking a movie based on the one before in another language, there are choices to be made. There are two major distractions in the film that kills the momentum: the fight scene by Ajith, introduced to please his fans and second is the sentimentality angle with the flashback scenes of Ajith-Vidya Balan. These extra scenes lengthened the film and kept us from the great theme. Otherwise the film is a decent one.

Very lengthy, it takes an hour to set the plot and then the movie begins. Not sure why Ajith continues to don his full grey hair & beard, looking much older that the characters he's portraying. Court scenes are dragging at times. Original movie Pink with Amitabh and Tapsee has much impressive performances than this remake.
