It's a nice movie with nice doses of realism, but I felt the ending was a bit of a cop-out. It would've been truer to the story had it ended like the original "Rocky". You can still win without "winning." Otherwise, Anushka was surprisingly good in a simple housewife role...she did well, and should do it more, I think.

honestly i dont get the people who say Varun Dhawan can't act. Just watch Badlapur... like it doesnt get any better. so much emotion just freakin talented. Loved this movie. A great inspiration to the dying art in India.

Definitely worth a watch. Pleasant, heartwarming story. I agree with the comments about the ending- could have been a bit more realistic and felt slightly out of place with the rest of the story. Varun's best performance since Badlapur and Anushka is wonderful, as always. Really liked the soundtrack/score as well!

Bring back cottage industry. Enough of urban migration polluting and congesting throughfares. The Im something mentality shahari (upward mobile city folks) is well depicted. Just as Statue of Unity gave employment to many villages in Narmada backwaters, bollywood should take up this bid and move it forward with this movie and others done by AkshayKumar, Irfan Khan and others. Enough of NRI themed flicks. Focus on village development.

worth your time, Good hindi movie after looooooooooooong time

Good concept but is not realistic! How come just an ordinary Tailor design clothes for a high five fashion show. Didn't show their struggle so much enough, just one leap directly into a ultra modern fashion show...not justifying! Anushka looks older to him! Could've been made much better!!

I loved the film. A bit slow but felt real from start to end. Great performance by everyone but loved Varun and anushka the most.

Such a lovely movie.

What a creative movie hats off to the script writer and the director. All the leads acted very well and they brought the reality and emotions in each of the respective actor and actress. Superb songs very melodious and some thought provoking I would say. Location was fantastic and in a whole worth watching this movie. This may bag national award for best picture, screenplay and direction

A delightful feel good film, with all the bells and whistles that tug at your heart strings. The performances of course are top notch. Definitely a must watch, in fact I watched it twice to be able to see all the small details missed on first watch.

I think this is by far Varun's best act to date! As for Anushka, no surprise here....she always brings it! A very thoughtful movie!

I really liked the movie, but the ads every 20 or so minutes were killing me. I hope that your movies won't be doing this ad-thing from now on. Ads before, during the intermission or at the end is one thing but all throughout the movie is very annoying.

Love this movie. One of the best one for this year. Performances are the best. Storyline is very good. Heartwarming film.

Quintessential Bharatiya movie! Loved the depiction of everyday people’s struggle in home and outside in the world. Very believable character play out.
