Gadar 2 is a tribute to Sunny Deol's stardom and the legacy the first part had. It has a basic storyline that will appeal to the masses. Riding high on nostalgia, the makers make full use of this fact by bringing back some iconic scenes and remixing two of the sweetest songs. The romance, comedy and overall performances are watchable but it is Sunny's paaji's electrifying action scenes that stand out. Unfortunately, the direction, screenplay and editing are uneven which hinders the flow of the film. Do watch it if you're looking for a trip to the early 2000s.

This topic is so old and still work thats fascinating. Just watched to see Sunny deol but the movie is like watching 90s movie. Total masala and BS. I wish they would have made Damini or some other old sunny movie remake. This is a blockbuster just working on sentiments. Divided by border and divided by movies.

Positive: Good moral, inspiring dialogs about unity and peace w.r.t religion. Good performance and storyline. Negative: Illogical political/military drama. (Pakistan will never make such drama in public after making illegal arrests and will not allow prisoners to come out of jail/cell, will silently kill prisoners after immense torture. Also unbelievable fight action sequences with military. (Tara singh managed to get his son out without using gun is near to impossible).

If you find flaws in a movie and give your opinion impartially, people stamp you with being bias (religious) and if you praise the stupidity, then you go against your taste and agree with a bunch of people who actually see the movie with a political point of view. So with all due respect to any belief or nation, this movie is an utter shit!
