Bollywood and its hypocrisy never cease to amaze me. Were there no dark-skinned actors in India that they had to blacken Bhumi Pednekar's skin to play this role? Shame on you, Bollywood!

narrative building toh koi aisey lucche lafangey se seekhe. The way in which director said that baal is allah and baal is jesus was amazing. The manner in which muslim & christian cultures have shown to be the root-cause of people being shallow is amazing. It was very nice to see that krishna/shyama - the word itself meaning "dark" - was used as a tool to drive the point that dark color is ugly. Imagine a society where ugly, dark, krishna/shyama and rama are gods. chaadarmodh director. Thookna bhi nahi aisey ___ ke mooh pe.

Fantastic satire!

Loved it . It is Ayushman ‘s movie all the way and he has done a superb job in the title role . His transformation from a self doubting baldy to a Hindi film song singing lover is done with great flair . This guy does the most challenging roles seemingly effortlessly and always finds interesting films to work in . He does get great support from Bhumi, Yami and the other actors . Great watch .

This movie was awesome. Ayushmann's acting was 5* as usual. Loved how it touched real life issues and not just sex and romance like typical Bollywood films. Very good film. Loved it.

Shallow to extremes, a whole issue created over nothing. I realize the culture is taking steps to remedy such things, but they need to step it up. Among 300 + bill. people there's a lot of bald, dark fat short....This film was over hyped.

So much buffering

Anyone knw how can i avoid buffering?

Does anyone know why every movie in the site now is totally unwatchable? I have been experiencing the issue for more than 3 months now where the loading circle appears about every 20 seconds. The loading happens for about 30 seconds. I have Comcast and Amazon video and Netflix works fine. So, this should not be an internet speed issue.

it's disgusting what indian cinema is doing brownfacing and blackfacing their actors and actresses. find people with darker complexions, they exist in the industry
