I recommended this movie to a friend, not realizing she had strong feminist views. She criticized the director for not portraying certain truths to the heroin. While I understand her perspective, I feel that sometimes movies need creative liberties to tell compelling stories and if the truth was already reveled then there is no movie. So, to all my feminist friends, I hope you can appreciate this movie for what it is!

Excellent script, direction and acting. MalCin is going through a seeming golden period of novel stories and magical movie making. To cope with our own non-rectifiable shortcomings has to be among the harshest things humans endure. Such a mind bending but identifiable story!

Agree, Asif keeps upping his game, though purposely understated here as per script. Just this year, his range was on full display in Level Cross, Thalavan and the amazingly acted Adios Amigo. My fav is his "Sleevaachan" in Kettyolanu Ente Malaga. Can't believe this 30 year old has acted in close to 100 movies. Perhaps another way to look at this is, the current bubbling cauldron of male/female actors, writers and directors are bringing out the best in each other.

An amazing movie. Very tight story, script and screenplay that is executed in perfection. Also, the interstellar inspired BGM suits the intense revelation timeline at the end of the movie. A must watch.

I wish the story line doesn't follow the same pattern established by dRSyam success lines. I want Malloo movies to come out of that and portray laws taken into hands and family values as higher moral values can subsume and caretake crimes. Good movies should focus on moving away from this and get the storyline changed to accepting punishments.
