the original, 'great indian kitchen' in malayalam took this universal problem and reduced it to the issue of a certain hindu sect in kerala. though the household is hindu, this movie does not use a colored lens. a much better movie experience.

Remakes aside, this is a very decent film with a superb performance by Sani Malhotra. She certainly deserves better roles than the typical ones she gets to do. There are a few exaggerations and loose ends - Richa has only two mouths to feed at home in her Mother-in-Law's absence but she seems to be cooking and cleaning all day. The Mother-in-law does not come home even for her own husband's milestone birthday. But these can be overlooked due to the cast.

Kanwaljit Singh is very apt as the Father in law, The supporting cast does a nice job and Nishant Dahiya also fits his role. Nice decent film

What a phenomenal story writing it shows every household story. I don’t know how people don’t understand that woman actually go through hell in their own house. Woman also need help love and Care. This movie is a great representative of all women struggle. Men disgustingly Say, “what do you do at home? You always Sit and relax there’s nothing you do at home, I always work”. This is a great movie to show what a woman actually does.

FOR ALL WHO SAY THIS IS A COPY OF GREAT INDIAN KITCHEN...this was better version than Great Indian Kitchen, ... story flowed well without over acting over doing it.. also the end was great.... Great Indian Kitchen end was so lousy and noisy...

Woke joke of a movie which omits basic fact that modern women are stuck between two stools, unable to cook and clean properly and remain a financial burden on men in their household. In the US, dual income couples, men make 70% of income and 98% of wealth. Still women always try to ask for 50% of marital property during divorce

Great movie as this still goes on in the world where men are treating women like complete trash or their personal maids. Bit slow but overall a brilliant movie!
